REGISTRATION:
Wednesday, October 15, 2003 from 8:00-9:00 pm in Exhibit Hall E
Thursday, October 16, 2003 from 12:30-2:30 in Exhibit Hall E
COST: $220.00 (credit card or check)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attendance at the entire conference (12.5 contact
hours). This may include the pre-conference, however, this does not
include the 4 thirty minute vendor breaks. You can complete the
required 12.5 even if you are unable to attend the pre-conference.
- Complete and submit a field assignment by Nov. 3,
2003.
- Submit a "Reflections Log" on
conference sessions. The log shall include a 3-5 page paper
describing the applicability of the material gathered at
conference in terms of the role and responsibility the participant
holds in the profession. Forms for this option will be provided.
- Read and critique three journal articles
related to the topics addressed at conference and complete a one
page review of each article (attach a copy of the article as
well). Compare/contract information gained from the article with
information gathered at the conference
- Interview a minimum of 10 vendors during the
conference and select one vendor believed to offer the greatest
opportunities for you and/or your students. Submit a one page
paper reviewing this experience and justifying your final vendor
selection.

Wednesday, October 15, 2003:
Optional Pre-Conference: 1:00 - 4:30 PM (3 hours)
Author Opening Session with Will Hobbs: 5:30 - 6:30 PM (1 hour)
Exhibitors Reception/Exhibits Open: 6:30 - 9:30 PM (3 hours)
(Possible total on Wednesday = 7)
Thursday, October 16, 2003:
President's Opening Session: 8:15 - 9:15 AM (1 hour)
Session 1: 10:00 - 11:00 AM (1 hour)
Annual Meeting and/or ILILE session: 11:10 - 12:30 PM (1 hour)
Lunch with Exhibitors: 12:30 - 2:30 PM (2 hours)
Session 2: 2:30 - 3:30 PM (1 hour)
Session 3: 4:00 - 5:00 PM (1 hour)
(Possible total on Thursday = 7)
Friday, October 17, 2003:
Keynote Speaker: 8:15 - 9:15 AM (1 hour)
Session 4: 10:00 - 11:00 AM (1 hour)
Session 5: 11:30 - 12:30 PM (1 hour)
Author Award Luncheon: 12:30 - 2:15 PM (1.5 hour)
Session 6: 2:30 - 3:30 PM (1 hour)
