The 2017 OELMA Conference theme is “Teacher Librarians: Making All of the Connections.” We invite you to join our program of authors, illustrators, and presenters to demonstrate how you make connections in your school.
We are currently accepting presentation proposals for 45-minute concurrent sessions for Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20, 2017.
Your participation at the 2017 OELMA conference is vital to our organization and profession.
This year’s strands are based on the following SLMS Core Competencies:
- Collection Management
- Instructional Goals/Instructional Strategies
- Reading and Literacy
Submissions are due April 30, 2017.
Requests received after April 30th will only be considered as space permits. All proposals will be reviewed by the Programming Committee and scored on a rubric.
Adherence to the theme, as well as the interest to educators, school library/media personnel, and technology staff, will be considered. Presenters will be notified by May 31, 2017 regarding acceptance.
The primary presenter of each accepted session will receive a discounted registration rate for full conference.
Exhibitors who wish to present may contact the OELMA Offices at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss presentation options.
