The Ohio Academic Content Standards describe the knowledge and skills that students should attain, often called the what of what students should know and be able to do. They indicate the ways of thinking, working, communicating, reasoning and investigating, and important and enduring ideas, concepts, issues, dilemmas and knowledge essential to the discipline.

- Ohio Guidelines for Effective School Library Media Programs developed by the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Curriculum and Instruction (2003) these guidelines represent a standards-based education (SBE) approach to school library programs

Included is a process to display Academic Content Standard benchmarks with supporting grade level indicators; contents are formatted for copy/paste into MARC record.
- Data Driven Decisions for Academic Achievement (D3A2)provides Ohio teachers with systematic access to valuable performance data and aligned educational content to help them meet the needs of their individual students. (Please note that some Ohio School Districts do not participate in D3A2).
- ODE Checklists Prepared by the Institute for Information Literacy Education (ILILE) to support Ohio Department of Education Academic Content Standards, including major subject areas and library guidelines.
