OELMA Professional Development Opportunities

One of the goals of the Association is to provide members with an array of professional development opportunities. Each year, our Annual Conference provides the membership with an opportunity to view, meet with, and learn about a variety of educational initiatives, services, products, and services. Visit the Annual Conference section for more information about our biggest event held each October.

Midwinter provides a one-day opportunity for our members to gather, share, and learn in the spring. This event traditionally takes place in March in the Columbus area.

OELMA's Professional Development Task Force began offering summer professional development opportunities in 2005. Check back often for more information on OELMA's Advanced Institutes for School Library Media Specialists.

In addition to these opportunities, OELMA's regions, divisions, and committees are encouraged to provide professional development and networking opportunities as well. Grow with us today!
